  • Morning

We like to begin most days with a relaxing walk along the Atlantic Ocean, just steps away from our residences. You’ll then enjoy a nutritious breakfast prepared by our professional chef, providing you energy and nutrients for the day ahead. After breakfast on your own, you may meet with your medical or clinical team or have personal time before daily reflection group or life skills group at 9:45 am. After a short break at 10:15 am, you’ll attend a process group, where you’ll explore issues surrounding addiction and mental health disorders like shame and trauma.

  • Afternoon

Lunch is served on your own from 12:00 to 1:30 pm. After lunch time, we offer a variety of recovery groups. Some of these include: a medical group led by our medical director, 12-step and SMART Recovery® (non 12-step) support groups, psychodrama, gender-specific groups, trauma-based groups, psychoeducational groups, training in mindfulness and grounding techniques, or leisure time on the weekends. After a short break we move onto our afternoon “holistic hour.” This typically includes whole-self healing approaches like acupuncture, nutrition and fitness, meditation, mindfulness or leisure time on weekends. From 4:00 to 5:00 pm, we focus on fitness and physical healing. This might include gym time, yoga or pool time.

  • Evening

Dinner is served on your own from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Following dinner, you’ll participate in on-campus or offsite support groups like 12-step or 12-step alternatives such as SMART Recovery® groups. On the weekends, we usually offer fun, engaging activities like game night or movie night. You’ll have personal time from 9:30 to 10:30 pm before bedtime.
