Below is a list of commonly asked questions. These can help you get a better understand of what to expect from Lucida Treatment’s drug rehab programs. Our caring and highly experienced admissions team is also on hand around the clock to answer any questions you may have at 1.866.947.7299.
The cost of addiction treatment depends on the level of care you require and your preferred living arrangements (private suite, private room or shared room). Call our drug rehab admissions staff at 888-478-2722 for a cost estimate tailored to your specific needs. We will also work directly with your insurance company to help you maximize your benefits. Insurance sometimes covers the majority of cost of drug rehab.
Yes. We are in-network with several insurance providers. We also accept most out-of-network PPO insurance plans. We’ll handle all of the back and forth with your insurance provider to determine your benefits eligibility and ensure you get the maximum coverage available to you under your plan.
We offer varying length of stays based on the needs of each individual client.
Yes. We have a three-day acclimation period during which communication with family and friends outside treatment is restricted. This period is designed to help you focus on your treatment goals, stabilize and decompress from life stressors. After that, you may use our telephones 20 minutes three times weekly for personal use as clinically appropriate. Additional phone use is permitted if pre-approved by staff prior to admission. You can check emails at designated places and times with staff supervision.
Addiction and mental illness affect the entire family. Research has shown that when family members are involved in the treatment process, chances for successful outcomes increase. We offer weekly family therapy (via phone or in person) as well as a monthly family workshop weekend. Your primary therapist is also available to your loved ones throughout treatment to answer questions, provide updates or discuss changes in your treatment plan.
Yes. We are licensed to treat both primary mental health disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. This means we provide residential treatment for people who have mental health disorders even if they don’t have an addiction.
We realize that each client is unique and treatment reflects that. Instead of following a one-size-fits-all approach, we draw upon a number of evidence-based models to provide a customized, well-rounded, effective addiction treatment experience. We believe in the power of choice in treatment. You’ll be actively involved in crafting a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs. We offer both 12-step approaches and 12-step alternatives like SMART Recovery® and an array of both traditional and alternative therapies so you can find what approaches and activities most support you in recovery.
We provide referrals to trusted local medical detox facilities, and can provide an extended Suboxone taper or maintenance as clinically appropriate.
Lucida provides all meals and snacks. We serve professionally prepared meals and can accommodate special diets such as vegetarian, diabetic, kosher, etc.
Due to safety concerns with COVID-19, all on-site visitations are currently prohibited. We hope to be able to accommodate pre-approved visitors at a later date when we have clearance from governmental, local and organizational leadership.
We offer semi-private and private rooms located in beautifully furnished and equipped modern townhomes. Each of Lucida’s townhomes are configured differently, however they are all made up of some combination of shared rooms, private rooms and private suites. Learn more about where you’ll stay.
Aftercare program planning begins from day one to ensure your transition back into daily living is as smooth as possible. We’ll work with you, your referring therapist and your family members as appropriate to make sure that the support you will need when you leave is in place. Follow-up with clinicians, medication management and support group recommendations are just some of the ways we’ll help you transition back into everyday life.
