Lucida partners with mental health professionals and treatment facilities that need a higher level of care for their clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders (with or without co-occurring substance abuse). We can also connect Lucida clients through a health professional referral for continuing care when they return home. We look forward to partnering with you.

Lucida Treatment Center Health Professional Referral

Medical team who work on a Lucida Treatment Center health professional referralLucida is licensed to treat clients with:

  • Mental health disorders without co-occurring substance abuse
  • Mental health disorders with co-occurring substance use disorders
  • Substance use disorders

We are a licensed primary mental health program through the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA). We are also licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) as a substance abuse treatment facility.

Lucida is a fruitful resource for other treatment providers as well as clinicians in private practice. In fact, we treat clients that present some of the most challenging clinical needs. Our medical and clinical teams collaborate to stabilize acute clients and return them back to their primary source of care and referent. Our clients struggle with complex mental health disorders like major depression, anxiety, borderline personality, self-harming behaviors, PTSD, trauma, and schizophrenia. However, we welcome step-down clients from psychiatric hospitals as clinically appropriate.

Accepted Insurance Providers

Lucida works with a number of insurance plans. Because we are licensed as a primary mental health facility, we are able to bill insurance for residential mental health treatment with or without a co-occurring substance use disorder.

For example, here are a few examples of insurance providers we’re in-network with:

  • Aetna™
  • Ambetter/Sunshine Health™
  • Cenpatico®
  • Employers Health Network (EHN)
  • HealthEZ
  • Humana
  • Magellan Health℠
  • MultiPlan®
  • PHCS

We are also able to accept out-of-network insurance plans. Our admissions team can also provide clients with a complimentary insurance benefits check and advise them of out-of-pocket costs.
