Phyllis has spent several years treating people with substance abuse and mental health disorders. She relocated from Oklahoma to Florida to continuing serving this population at Lucida. Her goal is to assist clients in sharpening their coping skills to become reliable, successful and independent in life. She enjoys walking beside, encouraging and not carrying, and guiding not directing her clients. Phyllis earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Northeastern State University and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma ‘Go Sooners.’ She is married with two grown children and six grandchildren.
