Our inpatient treatment program provides clients a comfortable, supportive environment to do the work of recovery. Clients live in welcoming townhomes and enjoy ample amenities such as an onsite chef, a pool, a fitness center, and private and semi-private bedroom options.
Inpatient care allows clients to step away from the distractions of daily life to fully immerse themselves in treatment. By offering a home-like atmosphere, clients are able to relax and focus on treatment, not what’s lacking in their environment.
We combine traditional therapies with alternative approaches to offer clients a multifaceted treatment experience. Our holistic treatment program includes yoga, meditation, acupuncture, fitness, and massage therapy to help our clients heal mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Holistic approaches help clients heal from the inside out while teaching them a healthy set of tools to help manage stress and triggers in recovery.
We offer a variety of evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, neurofeedback, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help our clients find the treatments that best suit their needs.
By offering a number of evidence-based therapies, we’re able to address the unique factors contributing to each client’s substance abuse issues.
We know that no two people are the same, and our treatment approach reflects that. Upon admission, clients meet with their treatment team to develop a personalized treatment plan that best suits their specific needs, beliefs, and struggles.
When treatment is tailored to a person’s needs and preferences, their experience feels more relevant and that helps them stay engaged in recovery.
Our intensive outpatient program offers clients structure and support as they transition out of residential treatment and back into everyday life. Clients engage in group and individual therapy, get help applying for jobs or school, and practice recovery skills.
Support, structure, and reinforcement of healthy coping skills in early recovery can help prevent relapse and build confidence in sobriety.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Clients struggling with substance abuse often have one or more co-occurring mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder, which can contribute to their addiction. We offer dual diagnosis treatment that addresses both addiction and mental health issues concurrently.
By addressing underlying mental health issues, clients are better able to manage their psychological symptoms and may feel less prone to self-medicate those symptoms with substances.
Addiction is a family disease, and we offer families the opportunity to participate in the treatment process so they can heal and recover together. Our family program includes weekly family therapy in person or via phone and a monthly family workshop weekend.
Family therapy helps loved ones learn more effective ways to communicate, set boundaries, and support their loved one — and themselves — following treatment.
Clients work with our double board-certified addiction psychiatrist and a board-certified advanced psychiatric nurse practitioner to assess and treat any psychiatric issues, including bipolar disorder and other mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma.
With regular mental health support, clients can more effectively manage their mental health issues, which lessens the urge to rely on drugs and alcohol to cope.
Not everyone relates to the 12 Steps. That’s why we offer 12-step alternatives like SMART Recovery® so that our clients can engage in recovery support that fits their beliefs and preferences.
When treatment aligns with clients’ beliefs, it feels more relatable and they are more likely to continue engaging in healthy recovery practices after treatment.
When you come here you are going to be cared for. They give you a good amount of space and comfort to take your mind off of everything to focus on your recovery. Which I think is really important for this. You need to have as few distractions outside things antagonizing you, because when you’re in this recovery state your in a hyper state.
Two things, one was the comfort and one was the motivation. I needed a cocoon, a soft place to fall on. Lucida was able to provide me with the comfort needed during recovery. The second was a talk about addiction and how the biology of the brain is affected by addiction. This talk motivated me to stay well. The comfort along with the motivation to stay well work together to keep me sober.
I came here knowing that they have a great staff and that they are here for you all night long. They always have someone here. And the staff is not pushing you. You’re not in class from 8 in the morning till 7 at night. Lucida makes it so much more enjoyable to learn about the process of addiction and the road to recovery.
I was attracted to the non-religious aspect and the smart recovery and the more practical approach I call it. I was gonna give this a try and see what this is. It turns out it really suited my personality particularly well. I didn’t know, took a chance on it, and it turns out this has been the best program for me.
Oh gosh. Definitely the accommodations. And the house -- living in there with 6 other guys with different kinds of issues and personalities, for me was a huge part in making it all work. The location and being in a place like this, the proximity, having things to look forward to on a day to day basis is huge. When you’re in a space like this, you’re looking forward to your day to day assignments. They set us up so nice here that it leaves little room for negativity. Makes it a lot easier to get along.
This is a nice treatment center. It’s not like other treatment centers where you get a plastic bed in a small room. People are very grateful to have this experience. It’s a very comfortable place and I think that helps a lot. The food is very good. The medical care is very good. It’s run properly. It has a great schedule.
