Our inpatient treatment program offers effective treatment in a supportive setting. Clients live in welcoming townhouses and enjoy amenities like an onsite chef, a pool, private and semi-private bedroom options, housekeeping services, and a fitness center.
Inpatient care allows clients to step away from the distractions of daily life to fully immerse themselves in treatment. By offering a home-like atmosphere, clients are able to relax and focus on recovery, not what’s lacking in their environment.
Our intensive outpatient program offers clients structure and support as they transition out of residential treatment. Clients participate in individual and group therapy, continue to refine the coping skills they learned in residential treatment, and get help re-entering the workforce or applying for school.
Support and structure in early recovery help ease the transition from an inpatient setting back into everyday life.
We tailor treatment to each client’s needs. Upon admission, each client receives thorough biopsychosocial assessments to develop a personalized treatment plan. With a selection of traditional and alternative therapies and a small client population, clients get plenty of one-on-one attention and engage in treatment approaches that most support their recovery.
When treatment reflects clients’ specific issues and interests, they feel more engaged in the recovery process.
We offer trauma-focused therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and neurofeedback to help clients address underlying issues that may contribute to mood disorders.
Past trauma can play a role in mental health issues. Helping clients get to some of the root causes of mood disorders supports their long-term recovery.
We combine traditional therapies with alternative approaches to offer clients a multifaceted approach to treatment. Our holistic treatment program includes yoga, meditation, and acupuncture to help our clients heal mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Holistic approaches promote whole-person healing and teach clients a healthy set of tools to manage challenges after treatment.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Clients with mood disorders may also struggle with substance abuse and other issues. We offer dual diagnosis treatment that treats both mental health and substance abuse issues concurrently.
People may turn to drugs and alcohol or other destructive behaviors to self-medicate mood disorder symptoms. Addressing all of these issues in treatment gives clients a strong foundation for long-term recovery.
Clients work with our double board-certified addiction psychiatrist and a board-certified advanced psychiatric nurse practitioner to assess and treat psychiatric issues, including bipolar disorder and other mood disorders.
Our psychiatrist provides psychiatric support and medication management, which allows our clients to effectively manage their symptoms and obtain a long-term treatment plan.
Mental health issues can impact the entire family. Our family program includes weekly family therapy sessions in person or by phone as well as a monthly family program.
Family therapy allows loved ones to learn more effective ways to communicate and how best to support their loved one — and themselves — following treatment.
We know not everyone relates to the 12 Steps. That’s why we offer 12-step alternatives like SMART Recovery® so that clients can receive recovery support that fits their beliefs and preferences.
When treatment aligns with clients’ beliefs, they are more likely to stay engaged and continue healthy recovery practices after treatment.
Two things, one was the comfort and one was the motivation. I needed a cocoon, a soft place to fall on. Lucida was able to provide me with the comfort needed during recovery. The second was a talk about addiction and how the biology of the brain is affected by addiction. This talk motivated me to stay well. The comfort along with the motivation to stay well work together to keep me sober.
Our specialized team of mental health experts provides research-based treatment to women struggling with mood disorders in a private, comfortable environment that supports recovery.
